OVERVIEW
Secret Jiu Jitsu Club LLC remains to be a mystery, yet one certain thing is that it operates this website. You either accept the conditions listed below, or you shall leave the website immediately in fear of Silent Sensei’s (and our lawyer’s) wrath.
We wasted a day of good training on translating the legalese and making those terms short and sweet so you better read them carefully, because they apply to you regardless of whether you purchase our gear, contact us, or just browse the website.
It’s very simple – if you do anything on the website, you accept the current version of these terms. If you infringe the terms, we reserve the right to permanently ban you from using the website and send your info to our blood-thirsty lawyer.
SECTION 1 – RESPECT THE SILENT SENSEI
By purchasing our products you warrant and represent that, while wearing the SJJC gear, you:
- shall not act like a douche,
- shall not pull guard in no gi,
- shall not give up, or tap to pressure,
- shall undertake your best efforts to smash,
- shall, if clearly defeated – tap to roll another day,
- shall not talk about the club.
SECTION 2 - ONLINE STORE TERMS
You must be 18 years old to buy our stuff. Apparently, if you are younger you can’t legally purchase our gear. Well, if you are not, ask your parent to buy the gear. At the same time, remember the rule #1.
Don’t ruin our store by transmitting codes, viruses, etc.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell our gear to anyone for any reason at any time. Silent Sensei’s disapproval is final.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the website or information or images that are on it, without express written permission by us.
In other words, don’t steal our stuff, please.
SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. What about the FAQ you ask? We did our best to give you the most current and accurate information, but we can’t be held liable if there are certain discrepancies. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
SECTION 4 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our gear are subject to change without notice. We can also turn off the website and the possibility to purchase our gear at any moment, forever, without notice if we decide so, e.g. when the Club’s identity is about to be discovered. Obviously, we will honor our obligation to ship the gear that was already paid for.
SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS’ AVAILABILITY; RETURN; SHIPMENT
Certain products may have limited quantities and are not subject to return unless explicitly stated otherwise in the Orders and Shipment section of our FAQ.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you are a guard puller and you would bring shame to the Club, we reserve the right to refuse sale of any gear or refund you if you have already paid.
We have poured our minds and hearts into the design and manufacturing of our gear. However, we do not warrant that the quality of any gear will meet your subjective expectations, how could we?
We do not accept any refund requests ff the tracking number shows that your package has been delivered. Also, if you order internationally via USPS First-Class International shipment method of choice, which tracking system will probably not work in your country, you assume full risk of the package being lost within the postal system of your country.
SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We want to ensure that the discounts granted to the members of other eligible purchasers are not abused to purchase gear for the ones who did not bother to become a member or secure a discount. For this reason, we may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store.
SECTION 7 - PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
SECTION 8 - ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally there may be information on our website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information on the website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law.
SECTION 9 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the website is at your sole risk.
All gear purchased is provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
In no case shall Secret Jiu Jitsu Club LLC, our members, warriors, and ambassadors, be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any products purchased on this website.
In other words, be prepared that – upon seeing the mark of Silent Sensei on your gear - people may go extra hard against you and we take no responsibility for any injury, neither yours nor theirs.
SECTION 10 - INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Secret Jiu Jitsu Club and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
For example, if you act like a douche and break somebody’s leg wearing our gear, and their attorney comes up with a far-fetched theory that it was the Silent Sensei’s teaching what prompted you to do that, you got to own your mistake and defend us in court at your cost.
SECTION 11 - SEVERABILITY
In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
SECTION 12 - TERMINATION
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.
These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time when you cease using our website.
If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our website.
SECTION 13 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the website and our gear, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).
Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.
SECTION 14 - GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or Products following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
